3M Clarity Aligners
Our 3M Clarity system represents the next generation of aligners. Using a series of clear aligner trays designed to fit your unique smile, the 3M Clarity system offers the convenience of the removable aligners that allow you to maintain the look and lifestyle that you want.
Dr. Mahlmann and Dr. Borders design each set of aligners to fit your smile. You can easily remove your trays for meals or when it is time to brush and floss.
The aligners themselves are comfortable to wear and easy to maintain, and our orthodontists will be happy to tell you more during your visit to our office.
Our Clear Aligner Process
1. Come in for Your Smile Consultation
- At your first free consultation, Dr. Mahlmann or Dr. Borders will sit down with you and assess the current state of your teeth and listen to the results you want.
- We'll also discuss your financial needs to ensure your treatment fits your budget.
- If the doctors determine that clear, removable aligners are the best solution to help you reach the smile you want, we'll sit down with you to discuss the financial options and treatment plans that best fit your situation.
3. Wear Your Almost-Invisible Braces
- After receiving your clear aligners, you should wear them as much as possible, but you can easily remove them for eating, flossing, and brushing.
- You'll come into Mahlmann & Borders Orthodontics for checkups about every four to six weeks to get your new sets of aligners so the doctors can check the progress of your teeth. These checkups are generally quick and painless because you won't have any wires to check or tighten.
A Modern Approach
Invisalign and 3M Clarity take a modern approach to straightening teeth. It uses a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligners are made of smooth, comfortable, and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth.
Wearing the aligners will gently move your teeth into place little by little, based on the exact movements Dr. Mahlmann or Dr. Borders plan for you.
There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You pop in a new set of aligners about every two weeks until your treatment is complete.
